Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery
The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at RCSI is pioneering the development of nursing and midwifery practice across Ireland and internationally. Their annual international conference is attended by prestigious speakers and delegates from across the world.
The then head of the Faculty, Professor Thomas Kearns, commissioned us to deliver several CPD based projects for RCSI. This included the development of the My CPD E-portfolio, which is used by nursing professionals to apply for Memberships or Fellowships with RCSI. The system enables applicants to compile evidence for their application, making the process more user friendly. The introduction of this digital system resulted in a significant increase in applications and reduced the time required to assess and process applications, making the whole process more efficient.

Collaborative Work with RCSI
As well as producing their application system, we have collaborated on several projects with the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery. These include the development of a skills passport for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), and supporting the creation of a mCPD site. Both these projects are still under development.
